Barack's Pew

I've just gotten an earful of some of the racist rantings of Barack Hussein Obama's Pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr.. They are quite sickening to listen to. Everyone should listen to them very carefully.

His Church is the Trinity United Church of Christ. No affiliation with the world-wide Church of Christ; and you can sort of figure that out in the first minutes of his "sermons".

Obama is now predictably distancing himself from it. But wait; just a few short months ago he he was basically trumpeting this Church and his Christian beliefs in order to put to rest the Muslim label that critics were giving him.

Obama would now like to say that he doesn't personally agree with some of Rev. Wright's opinions, but I'm sorry Barack, what he is preaching are core beliefs of himself and his (your) Church. You were baptised there, your children were also, and you've attended there over 20 years. There is no way you could be that immersed in a Church, and at the same time say that these covenants are not part of your beliefs also.

I've attended my current Church for roughly the same amount of time as Obama. I know how close one needs to be to the spiritual leader of that place, in order to faithfully attend anything for that number of years. I am very close to mine. There is no other way. Does that mean we totally agree on every detail of life and religion? No. But the kind of hate and anger being espoused by Rev. Wright is so far from Christ, that it is not something you would brush aside as being just a eccentricity or quirk of just one poorly articulated sermon.

You can tell a lot about a man from where he celebrates his God. This is how it should be if he calls himself religious. We need to study Obama more. You sure aren't going to know him from his warmed-over JFK words and sunshine-rainbow happy talk.

Please visit the Trinity United Church of Christ at the link below. It will give you a glimpse of what might be behind the man, but remember, this is only the sanitized version of the site! I wish I could have read what was there before his campaign got a hold of it!

Rev. Wright preaches that "Barack is the only candidate who can take this country in a whole different direction!" Well, Reverend, now you're "preaching to the choir!"
