McCain has made his choice for running mate, and it is Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska.
Readers of this blog know that I have been promoting this choice since January. I suspect that McCain himself has been a reader! Like Gen. Patton once said of Rommel….”that son of a bitch read my book!”
She is young, successful, smart, pretty and conservative. If she’d been anywhere but Alaska for the last few years, she’d be instantly recognized.
This is an excellent choice.
Women voters will identify with this soccer mom. I can hardly wait for Hillary or Pelosi to take their first shots at her. They’ll p*** all over themselves when they do! Or let Obama make a comment. He’s still suffering with some about the treatment Hillary got.
Conservatives will like the fact that she’s considerably right of her new boss!
Younger generations who are put off by McCain’s age will like her youth.
Maybe the VP choice makes no difference at all, but this one won’t hurt.

I wrote to her office asking whether or not she owned an English bulldog.
She does not.
