R.I.P. Henry Allingham

The worlds oldest man died yesterday. Henry Allingham, the last surviving original member of Britain's Royal Air Force, and one of a handful of surviving WWI veterans around the world.

He flew and helped maintain warplanes when they were only wire and cloth. He fought in the largest naval battle of the war. He was badly wounded in the arm.

He outlived his wife and both of his children, but is survived by many, including a great, great, great grandchild.

He spent much of his later years supporting veteran's affairs and talking about sacrifice and peace.

And that is what you call "A Life".

R.I.P. Henry Allingham.
